Bookings, Rescheduling and Cancellations

Once you have booked and paid using our website booking section, you will receive an email confirming your consultation time.  Within that email will be all the details of how your consultation will work.  There will also be a text message reminder 24 hours before your allotted time.

If it is an in-home consultation, please ensure you read our Covid policy.

Refunds are not issued for ‘change of mind’ or ‘forgetting the date’ or ‘double booking’ if this falls within 7 days of the consultation.  You may, however, by negotiation, reschedule your consultation to another suitable time.

Group booking:  If there is a guest who can no longer attend, then it is a great idea to get someone else to replace them. Reduction or increase in numbers for your booking can only be done 7 days prior to your consultation date.  On notification of revised numbers, the recalculated refund will be given , or additional payment will be required immediately.

We are very happy to take bookings over the phone if there is something in particular you want to discuss – please feel free to call or email if you have any booking enquiries.

It is the responsibility of the client to pay the full required amount, and collect reimbursement from their guests at their own risk.

Client will be responsible for any costs for ingredients, if required.  Lydia will supply ingredient list 7 days prior to the consultation.

Clothing and Footwear

As a matter of Health & Safety, we prefer that all participants wear closed shoes, and no loose articles of clothing. Shorts, thongs, open-toed shoes, sandals or high heels increase the risk of injury to cooking class participants.

For food safety and hygiene purposes, long hair should be tied back during all food preparation and cooking time.

Expectations of being a class member

Cooking consultations start on time as there is a lot to get through in only a short time. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class time to get the maximum benefit from the class and to ensure all Covid procedures can be completed.

If you or any of your guests have ANY food allergies, you must call and discuss this with us prior to attending any class. Lifestyle, Food & Nutrition cannot be responsible for participants who only declare a food allergy within the class, as all ingredients are purchased according to the consultation focus.

Due to Lifestyle Food & Nutrition insurance and food hygiene requirements, all children under the age of 8 and any household pets are required to remain out of the food preparation and cooking space whilst the consultation is in progress.

Due to insurance and food hygiene requirements, no smoking can be permitted in the vicinity of the food preparation and cooking space.
