Spicy Moroccan dip in 5 minutes.

Spicy Moroccan Dip

Spicy Moroccan Dip has just 5 ingredients!

This spicy Moroccan dip is a breeze to make. Throw everything into the blender or processor. Turn it on. 5 minutes later you have an amazing dip packed with flavour and healthy as well! We’ve served it with kale chips. Sometimes with carrot and celery straws. And our favourite is with the seeded flatbread, which is SO easy to make.

Seeded Flatbread – perfect companion with this dip

Instead of serving it as a dip, think about filling half a capsicum. Roast it for 4o minutes and serve with a salad. Stir some of it through a potato salad for a completely different idea. And it’s great spread on toast, topped with sliced avocado. The perfect breakfast.

Ramping up morning tea in aged care

To provide some variety with morning tea, this spicy Moroccan dip has been made a few times in the aged care facility. As part of my consulting work, we were challenged with ramping up from just cheese and biscuits. The feedback was great. And it is so easy to make in bulk. As time is always important in the kitchen, it was great to make this so quickly. And to note: chickpeas are a great source of fibre and protein. Also, turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory. Good for gut health! It provided excellent nutrition for our vegetarian clients too!

Gluten free or Dairy Free?

So the great news is that this spicy Moroccan dip can be both! Make it as the recipe says for Gluten Free, or if you are gluten intolerant. And change the Greek yoghurt for coconut yoghurt to make it dairy free! The flavours will still be amazing. As a result, you’ve got a perfect go-to dip! Share this recipe around so that more people can enjoy it!
