Irritable Bowel Syndrome – IBS is a very personal journey. Each person generally has particular foods or ingredients which set off those uncomfortable and debilitating symptoms. And they can make your life quite difficult to manage at times. You can feel anxious ( which also contributes to more symptoms). Sometimes, have you thought you might not be able to go to work? Or out for a meal with friends? And then there’s that little bit of angst while you scan the menu when you are out. Feeling confident that you’ll be ok? Or perhaps not? It can be a bit of a lottery if you are not sure what causes your IBS.
My role is to help with recipes, meal plans and ingredient swaps which keep your gut happier, and therefore you in a better place. As part of the I mentor you through understanding how to read food product labels, feel safe ordering from a restaurant menu, and how to avoid some hidden traps.
